High traffic buildings pose a high risk to the safety of the occupiers within the building. With so many contractors, visitors, and suppliers coming and going throughout the day, the safety of those within the building are compromised as anyone with ill intentions could enter and cause harm. The Visitor Management System (VMS) is thus the ideal solution to serve as a preventive measure against such threats.
ATT Group’s VMS is highly customisable and consists of an appointment system, registration kiosks, a card access system, turnstiles, and a dedicated lift management system. The appointment system notes the date, day, time and floor on which the visitor’s meeting is held. Upon arrival, visitors exchange their identity card for a pre-programmed entry card which will grant them access through the turnstiles, to the programmed elevators.
After tapping through the turnstiles, the card is scanned and level keyed in. If the entered level matches with the programmed card, a specific lift will be designated. Visitors must enter the designated elevator which will only stop at the specified level. They will be restricted from accessing other levels which do not match their entry card.
Designed towards automation, the integrated process provides an accurate and verifiable visitor count, thereby enabling easy management of human traffic flow within the building or compound.
